Next January, you can come and meet us at BiOS, the industry’s most important biophotonics, biomedical optics, and imaging conference of the year!
CoolLED began with fluorescence microscopy, which is an extremely demanding application in terms of irradiance, homogeneity, spectral range and control. The light must be intense enough across the spectrum to excite a variety of fluorescent labels, and homogenous across the field of view to achieve precise information from across the sample. Moreover, tight control must capture dynamic events happening within biological materials. Since we have delivered high-performance LED illumination to meet the demands of this application, we have also looked to broaden this for other applications.
The opportunity to transfer this technology and benefit other industries seems endless, and we’re looking forward to the mix of experts at BiOS to see who else we can support!
Therefore, we’ll be showcasing the Amora Series for custom microscopy illumination, which draws from the technology of tried and tested off-the-shelf products and speeds up development timescales. At the same time, these solutions fulfil the application’s requirements through the ability to select anywhere between two and twelve LED channels, and specifying many features around control, spectral coverage and connectivity.
After the success of VISION in Stuttgart earlier this year, we will once more be giving the machine vision community a chance to see how high-performance LED technology is set to revolutionise line illumination! Our prototype will be on booth #8280, and our team of engineers will be on hand to explain how we are able to achieve powerful, homogenous and stable LED illumination which is set to make the halogen lamp obsolete.
Have a happy holiday, and remember the CoolLED offices will close at 5.30pm (GMT) on 23rd December and re-open at 8.30am on 4th January.
We can’t wait to see you at BiOS booth #8280 next year!
